Satan is made of pride, ambition, jealousy, temptation, manipulation, fraud and sin. When Satan heads towards the Garden of Eden (Paradise), he looks beyond and all he sees is its beauty and innocence. Just like he was before, and for a second he ponders if he would repent, if God would forgive him. Then he realizes that if he asked God for forgiveness, it would be a lie and if he returned to Heaven, he would still not be free. So he continues his task of corrupting man. This moment of internal struggle within Satan simply reveals how evil he is. He knows there is a chance to repent, but he rejects it and this proves that he is a real devil and a villain.
