What the West fails to understand is that Arab dictators and leaders do not want to give Arabs a say in their future; therefore, it is almost impossible for the West to know that not all Arabs hate Americans and that the opinions of a few do not represent those of the many. Benazir Bhutto goes on to state that “The party I am proud to lead supports the Government of Pakistan's decision to join the US-led alliance against the forces of terror. Every Muslim country has joined the war against terrorism." (276) The terrorists are in fact not large entities, but a small fraction of followers who have repeatedly stated that they are against democracies because they fear losing their leadership.
