Even if it is claimed that the Illuminati is just a myth, however, there are a number of signs that point to the existence of this organized body that aims to control world affairs through means such as music, the media, the economy, politics and education. The Illuminati was formed in the year 1776 by Adam Weishaupt (Carr X). It is a secret society and is made up of a powerful group of people whose sole purpose is “to create a one world government to allow men of proven mental capacity to rule the world” (Carr X). Most alarmists believe that the Illuminati are considered to be the most powerful of all secret societies that have ever existed (Reynolds 67). Its power is such that it appears to be society that can “pull the strings of puppeteers who believe that they themselves are pulling the strings of other puppets” (Reynolds 67). In his book “Pawns in The Game” William Guy Carr, states that the Illuminati firmly believe in the “Luciferian ideology” (IX) which holds that “might is right. . . of proven superior intelligence have the right to govern the less gifted because the masses do not know what is best for them" (IX). As a result, only the most intelligent and powerful people are chosen to be part of the Illuminati. The Powerful People are the thirteen powerful families of the world who are said to control almost all of the world's resources and therefore have the power to implement their decisions in the world. The thirteen families include the Astor bloodline, the Bundy bloodline, the Collins bloodline, the Dupont bloodline, the Freeman bloodline, the Kennedy bloodline, the Li bloodline, the Onassis, the Reynolds Bloodline, the Rockefeller Bloodline, the Rothschild Bloodline, the Van Duyn Bloodline and the Mer... in the middle of the card... confusion and panic and make it easier for the Illuminati gain control. Mackow blames the 2008 American economic crisis on the Illuminati. In his article he claims that “bankers invest our money in mortgages and then crash the real estate market. . . the government must “borrow” trillions to make up the deficit. The result: banks are trillions richer” (Illuminati Bankers Seek N pag). This theory denies the idea that the Illuminati does not exist and, instead, calls on people to really think, so as to free themselves from the tight control of the Illuminati. The Great Depression of 1929 which affected countries such as the USA, Germany and the USSR is also considered the work of the Illuminati since it was the powerful families who had control over the Wall Street stock market; Furthermore, according to Kevin Demeritt, as both depressions had a lot
