According to observation, the factory paid attention to making improvements on environmental consequences. For some of them the factory is investing in a new plant (line two) equipped with maximized dust collection mechanisms, such as filter bags with additional dust collection systems. Furthermore, the factory plans and starts producing biomass as an energy source. It was decided to use a 40:60 ratio of biomass to coal during clinker production. This implementation of biomass as an energy source can reduce the impact of coal dust and other coal-related problems on the surrounding environment. In addition, the factory has established an environmental regulatory body on occupational health and safety. One of the experts assigned to the division is an environmentalist. This shows that the factory is starting to consider environmental burdens. In addition to the above-mentioned main objectives on improving environmental consequences, the company initiates greening activities within the factory and most of the internal streets covered with cobblestones. In addition to the environmentally friendly production signals above, the study put forward the following possible ways and suggestions on reducing and controlling impacts.1. Impact awareness. Throughout the interview there is the idea that the factory has less impact by connecting it to other countries or continents without any evidence of friendly plants. This could be due to less understanding or less commitment in a direction that is economic profitability. Changing the perspective of the impacts of cement production, in particular on top management bodies, is the first step to introducing reduction and control mechanisms. Furthermore, according to data from local inhabitants, the majority (65.0%) are illiterate. This shows that they don't have a... half-paper... plan. To ensure this project and make the factory greener, it is better to focus on the afforestation/plantation project in the surrounding area in addition to the greening activity inside the factory on reduction and monitoring.6. Factory environmental policy. It is better for the factory to define its own standards and environmental policy. Furthermore, it should prepare and implement an environmental management plan in the establishment. By implementing such environmental policies and plans, all significant environmental aspects can attract the attention of the facility.7. Capacitate the environmental regulatory body of the factory. Although the factory has established an environmental regulatory body as a division since 2013, it is an incapable and non-decisive body to make environmental improvements in the factory. It is better to organize it well to have an environmentally decisive body.
