Stereotypes have always been an important situation in racial society, from the 1960s until today. The stereotype has been used as a separation between other racial ethnicities. Racial stereotypes have actually caused humans to believe what others' actions should really be like and how they should be treated. However, some people from societies based on racial stereotypes had disapproved of this discrimination and fought for their rights; because they believed that all human beings were equal and should converge together as one unit of equality. Each person has their own different mental perspective on stereotypes; which can lead to important consequences or moral lessons. Stereotypes have prevented many people from facing reality and realizing that we are all equal and have fought for that equality. But there are some who will not accept that change and want to keep things the way they were before, until they realize it with a consequence. The author Flannery O'Connor for Everything that arises must converge, opens our minds and explains and shows us how in the 1960s racial stereotypes were used to indicate superiority and individualism. Furthermore, it also provides a brief explanation of how the minds of a group of different races work when they are together, such as on a bus. In Flannery O'Connor's story, each character's actions and thoughts symbolize a kind of stereotype, which leads one to accept the reality of racial equality, a moral lesson, and to stand up for oneself for respect and one's individual rights. To begin with, In Everything that Rises Must Converge, Julian represents a role of how society has risen and converged; facing reality and realizing how everyone is equal through the moral lesson he receives from his...paper society......ds, it just depends on how the person takes that insult. People will have a tendency not to know about stereotypes until they receive a consequence or moral lesson. Depending on the class structure in popular societies, stereotypes will be a problem for some people until they face the reality of racial equality, and also that everyone is human and equal. There are some companies that will accept the reality and do something to change this discrimination on racial equality. Flannery O'Connor's story opened our minds to understand that in the 1960s racial stereotypes were used for security and individualism. And even today racial stereotypes are used for this reason. With this story all three characters symbolized racial equality and facing the reality that we are all human; that there is no difference between all of us and that we must accept each other.
