The points he presents are very valid and worthy of consideration even for a religious person because, what guarantee do we have that there is a God? Some people say miracles, the fact that the human body works miraculously and the Bible tells them it exists. Ultimately, there is no hard evidence to prove anything. The problem I have with Maher is the way he tries to prove his theory of religion. He was unsuccessful because instead of wanting to know the truth, he is more focused on making fun of religious people. Some ways he does this are by cutting people off before their explanation and laughing hysterically in their faces and putting sarcastic comments on the screen while people are talking belittling their thoughts. For someone like Maher who doesn't believe in religion, he's also arrogant about it and refuses to see things from other people's perspectives.
