Time management is a method of approaching life so that you can finish things on time without procrastinating. “A time management “system” is simply a way to coordinate your days and activities so you can minimize stress and get more done” (). A good time management system will reflect an individual's unique structure, so it is crucial to find a structure that works efficiently. Time management is not just how to get more out of your time, but really how to become an organized person in life. An effective time management system is a sense of direction and this direction must be set in such a way that it works for both in a personal and professional sense (APA). If time is managed well, it helps reduce stress in your life. Time management requires skills including thinking about how to use time, effective planning, and awareness of competing priorities. Time is a very difficult thing to manage, because we are unable to see or feel it until we realize that it has passed. Before we can manage our time, it is very important to understand what time is and its importance. Time management is the organization of how we use our time daily to organize and execute our priorities. Effective time management must be the foundation of every productive and successful life. Upon returning to college after 2 years, I was very afraid of distance education, my full-time job, and family responsibilities. For a mature student, it is very difficult to manage time effectively due to family responsibilities and full-time work. Due to these factors, there is a great impact on their learning experience and family life.
