In this essay, an in-depth analysis will be carried out in relation to specific research on work cultures in a particular workplace. The workplace we will focus on in this essay is a women's fashion boutique. The main topic will focus on management discourses through the concepts of what is considered work in the retail industry, how the work environment is managed in the fashion industry, commitment in the workplace and teamwork relationship. All these aspects of the work will be tied together to form a research-based topic in relation to the fashion boutique. In order to produce a contextual picture of the notion of work, the research will be based on primary research consisting of an interview with the director of the women's fashion boutique and on observations of the boutique. Through the use of interviews embedded in this essay, theoretical concepts and academic articles will be used to support attention to management discourses in the perspective of what is considered work in the workplace. For ethical reasons, I will refer to the boutique manager named Anna. In reference to the notion of working within the women's fashion boutique, before focusing on this, first a brief overview of the company, the workplace and what it offers to customers and the fashion industry. The women's fashion company offers a wide range of fashionable clothing and accessories for the contemporary Australian woman. The wide range of clothing is aimed at women aged 25 and over and offers sizes from 8 to 16 to suit their individual needs. The retail sector has become a significant focus across the fashion industry and how… the medium of paper… caters to consumers. In conclusion, in this essay, it has become evident that there are various discourses of management within the work environment. Specifically, in relation to the women's fashion clothing boutique which constitutes the main case study throughout the above discussion in general relation to the topic of work cultures within the work environment. In-depth contextual research has been analyzed and discussed in relation to what is considered work, engagement in the workplace and the notion of teamwork in the workplace, all in accordance with the relevant case study above . Evidently, the inclusion of primary research methods derived from interview questions and workplace observations has been carefully contextualized with theoretical concepts within work cultures, as well as with consistent support from academic articles and books..
