People aren't sure which side they want to be on. They lack decision-making power. We see Ismene unable to decide whether she wants to help Antigone bury her brother. She initially denies, but then accepts and is even willing to die together with Antigone. Secondly, we see that the chorus who agree and praise Antigone for her courageous act suddenly change their opinion when Creon enters. Creon also eventually finds himself in the same situation where he was informed that what he did was wrong and that even the gods are not with him. He didn't believe it at first, but eventually agreed. But due to his late realization he lost his family. In today's world, this lack of decision making leads to the loss of good opportunities. Who we are as individuals depends solely on our decisions. It therefore becomes very important to be clear in life to avoid finding yourself in difficult situations. This is why Antigone, a play from 2500 years ago, is still relevant
