Topic > Renewable Energy: Wind Energy - 788

We use fossil fuels for many things today. Fossil fuels are the fossils of dead plants and animals. We need fossil fuels for electricity, for cooking and even for the shampoo we use every day. The most common fossil fuels were coal, oil and gas, but scientists now estimate that after 150 years we will run out of fossil fuels. Another fact is that fossil fuel extraction creates a huge amount of pollution and severely damages the environment. The best solution was to use wind energy as energy. Wind energy is the electricity powered by the windmill, this energy is renewable and sustainable which means you would always be able to get electricity from it unless there is no wind. Wind energy worked mainly thanks to the wind. First, the wind spins the blade and the blades spin the turbines that generate electricity, then the cable goes down inside the tower. Finally the cable brought electricity where it was needed. Wind energy brings many advantages. Of course it was renewable and sustainable. Apart from this, wind turbines also do not create any air pollution. The winds blow stronger in winter and this provides more electricity than usual, for example it usually provides 3% of the UK's energy, but in winter it can provide 4%. This is because the wind blows stronger than before and each wind farm receives a little more energy, and there are so many wind farms. Which could be a big difference from what usually happens. The operating costs of wind energy are very low, so the electricity could be cheaper than electricity provided by fossil fuels. Furthermore, the wind farm (where the wind turbine has been installed) can produce income for the farmer... middle of paper... t limits as much as other renewable energies. People (farmers, land owners) could live around and unlike other energies, it was not dangerous and people did not need to be afraid of the natural disaster it causes. Wind energy creates no air pollution and is capable of providing large amounts of energy, which in places with strong winds such as the UK, can provide 10% of the energy contained. Wind is something that almost everywhere has it, so it could always provide energy to different places. So the best benefit was that you could spend the rest of your life with technology as usual, and at the same time, it was sustainable and renewable, meaning it could last forever, and at the same time, you won't pollute the environment. So in conclusion, wind energy was better than other renewable energy.
