A famous poet, Samuel Coleridge, wrote the poem “Frost at Midnight”. Coleridge wrote the poem to describe how he wanted a better life for his son than the one he had as a young boy. He illustrated that during his childhood he lived in a lonely town, growing up alone, and described that he wanted his son to live through nature, which they believed was connected to God. Coleridge did not want his son to live a sad and gloomy life ; he wanted her to have happiness.
