Disarmament IssueThere is a rush among nations to acquire the most dangerous and deadly weapons to make them strong military forces. One of the goals of the United Nations is to work towards disarmament but it failed due to the cold war between the superpowers. CONCLUSION every organization has shortcomings but in my opinion it is one of the most effective global organizations in the history of time. Hope still lies in the United Nations regarding maintaining peace around the world. The future of many third world countries is in the hands of this particular organization. It is therefore the duty of all States to promote international peace and security and to respect every nation and its rights.
