Animal testing is a common practice in today's life and is necessary to ensure the safety of humans who will use the tested product. There are many positives and negatives to animal testing, but the pros clearly outweigh the cons. If you only look at animals used for food versus animals used for testing, animals tested represent only 2.6% of that number.
