Organizations often rely on their human resources to implement set goals. Leveraging the capacity of human resources will always remain an important driver in the implementation of the normal tasks, goals and objectives of organizations. Therefore, employee behavior will always remain an important element of interest for organizations. Controlling, regulating, monitoring and improving desired behavior in workers is therefore an important area of interest for organizations. To stimulate specific goals and achieve optimal performance from workers, it is useful to explore ways to stimulate fruitful behaviors from workers. Often, in an organization, drastic changes in worker behavior may be necessary to achieve changing goals. An example of such an instance might occur during rebranding, a change in marketing, or the need to increase production. Such cases may require a corresponding change in employee behavior. In this article I have explored several ways in which organizational behavior can be applied so as to develop specific and desirable employee behaviors. Here I have explored and analyzed several academic literatures that have focused on this particular area of interest (organizational behavior). One of the issues that has interested researchers in the area of organizational behavior is the question of cultural intelligence. Here (to understand how different workplace cultures can be used to the advantage of increasing workers' production) the characteristics of different cultures and values in the composition of workers are studied (Kevin, 2011). It is expected that in the coming years the majority of employees in the United States will be made up of current minorities. In the next...... half of the document ...... in order to obtain positive behaviors from those (employees) who are often called upon to implement important changes in organizations it will remain a fundamental role of managers. As I have described in this article, such effort depends on the ability of organizational leaders to develop and implement prerequisite behaviors within themselves and also in their employees. Since organizational behavior depends primarily on the ability of leaders to develop certain attributes in their employees, it is fruitful for leaders to understand beneficial ways in which they can develop positive behaviors in their employees. By recognizing the value of their employees in implementing a change process, positive leaders will create an environment that would help stimulate fruitful behaviors (necessary for desirable change) within themselves and their workforce..
