There are many cultural researchers who have explained culture and how individuals behave in an organization, we have Porter & co. (1975), George Murdock (1940), Clyde Kluckhohn (1952) etc. but this relationship will be based mainly on the cultural dimension of Geert Hofstede (1980). He studied the interactions between national and organizational cultures using IBM workers as a case study and identified four dimensions and later added two more at different times. To expand the business internationally, the human resources department studied the national cultures of those countries and the impact of culture on the way of doing business because different areas have different ways of doing things.
