Research shows that a child who has been spanked all his life would spank his own children. In other words, this can happen with their significant other too. A parent who was spanked as a child and regretted it throughout his life may have a life full of anger at punishing his children the same way they did. They will find it okay to beat their wife or husband because it wasn't a problem when they were young. The child may learn that being violent is okay since it is the parents who do it and bring him to school and abuse other students.
