In my country we do what we call “Umuganda” according to Rwandapedia it can be described as community wok. On the last Saturday of every month the communities come together to carry out various public works. This mainly includes infrastructure development, environmental protection and support for the most vulnerable families in the community. This community service has been successful and people are happy with the change they are making in their country.
