(War on the Poor) This equates to nearly $22,000 for every poor person in America every year. This leads back to individual morality and how a social slacker thinks it's perfectly acceptable to take that money, then have the audacity to complain that it's not enough. They have the nerve to claim that if someone gave you $22,000 a year, you wouldn't take it? Unfortunately they are right; however, they always avoid the basic fact of being a contributing member of society and not a dole. This only promotes the principles of dependence on public aid and not moving towards self-sufficiency
