The WildMy family and I were at home having dinner. After dinner I told my mother I left something at the top of the mountain, so she said “go get it, Mary. But she didn't want me to go alone, so I went to see if my friend was home but he wasn't there, so I disobeyed my mother's rules and went alone anyway. And it was starting to get dark so I had to quickly get to the base but I couldn't find it. Now it was really dark and 2 hours had already passed and I couldn't get down the mountain because it was so dark. And with my luck my phone went off, so I couldn't call anyone for help, so I started walking and walking after a while I realized that I wasn't going anywhere, so again I walked to the I finally fell down and went to sleep. I woke up and there were trees everywhere and then I realized I must have walked a lot further than I thought. Then I realized that I was lost and had walked very far without knowing where I was going. Then I realized that I couldn't get down this mountain, so I started collecting sticks and dry leaves to make a fire and then I started collecting branches and leaves to start building a hut under a small ledge I had found. The second thing I did was find a rock and start banging it against another rock to sharpen it and protect myself from predators at night. Since we are in Northern California, there are bears and I feel like I might encounter one pretty soon. After a while I made a small fire using 2 rocks and smashing them together to create sparks. In the middle of the night I heard a roar and bushes being crushed and then suddenly I heard a shot and a moan, out of fear I hid under the windowsill not knowing what was outside... in the middle of the paper. ..ck and fell asleep. That night I had a dream, in the dream I was climbing and there were people around me and people were screaming Cody and they kept screaming it and then I started shaking and shaking and then I realized someone was trying to wake me up. I woke up looking at a man's face and he asked me if I was lost and I said yes, not really knowing what was happening. Then he told me to go back to his camp and he could get something to eat. I tried to get up but my leg really hurt so the man helped me to my feet and I asked him what his name was, he said his name was, Brian. When we got back to his camp I looked around and he had 4 tents set up, I imagined one for his wife, one for the baby and the other for another baby, now that I was in a safe place I knew I could sleep without alarm or hunt without the fear of being attacked I was safe and happy.
