The Effect of Exercise on Breathing, Blood Pressure, and Heart Rate IntroductionThe function of the human respiratory system is to transport oxygen from the lungs to the tissues of the body. The function of the human circulatory system is to transport blood from the heart to various tissues of the body. The components of the human circulatory system include the heart, blood, and blood vessels (MJ Farabee 2007). Blood pressure is typically written as systolic/diastolic. A normal blood pressure range for an adult in systolic is less than 120 and in diastolic is less than 80. If the blood pressure is too high (hypertension) or too low (hypotension) it can cause medical problems for the individual (American Heart Association 2013). The relationship between the human respiratory system and the human circulatory system is the blood carries oxygen from the lungs through the blood vessels to deliver it to the various tissues of the body. The purpose of this experiment is to know how the respiratory system and circulatory system can be affected by physical activities and to know the relationship between the two systems under different conditions.Objective / HypothesisHo: Exercise will not affect tidal volumeHA: Exercise will affect the tidal volumeHo: Exercise will not affect the number of breaths per minute.HA: Exercise will affect the number of breaths per minute.Ho: Physical activity will not affect the systolic blood pressure.HA: Physical activity will affect the blood pressure systolic.Ho: Physical activity will not affect your heart rate.
