If I had consulted the ALS Moodle page and read the questions correctly, it would have been easier for me to complete the assignment. Another problem I encountered in my essay was the structuring of the essay. Due to inadequate research, the essay was not structured well. The thesis statement was also not addressed in the introductory part which supports my argument in the essay. Due to lack of sufficient research, the writing was not as good as needed. So, I was informed to redo the essay and resubmit it by the end of week 11. Through this mistake, I learned a great lesson. I need to do enough research to complete any assignment. Also, I had to go through the ALS available on the Moodle page. I need to meet with the ALS advisor or mentor who clarifies how to correctly cite the reference and how to identify the article relevant to the topic. Probably, I need to find the most important reference to find out whether or not each sentence or paragraph supports my argument. Please note: this is just an example.
