Employee satisfaction is arguably the best indicator of employee retention. A work environment consisting of good working relationships usually promotes employee satisfaction. Employees feel motivated because they believe the company appreciates their service and effort. Job satisfaction translates into employee loyalty. Employee retention could be defined as the length of time employees spend with the organization. The purpose of this report is to inform management about the importance of employee satisfaction in achieving the organization's competitive objectives through increasing employee retention. Description and BackgroundAccording to preliminary analyzes conducted on job satisfaction and expected job retention, it was concluded that the two were not related. (Cohen and Cohen, 1983). According to the results of this analysis, the main factors of job satisfaction were: • Less formal education; • Positive perception of supervision • Combines with skills and autonomy Cross, W. & Wyman, P.
