OCBs are behaviors that go beyond what is expected, and CWBs are behaviors that work against the well-being of the company, the worker, or both. Why these dimensions are interesting and important to I/O psychologists is easily seen with an understanding of the higher and lower potential of behavior that you, as an I/O psychologist, can design a plan to help fix or support your agency.
