Malala Yousafzai supported the education of young Pakistani women, despite strong opposition from the Taliban. He stated that “education is the right of every human being”. Unfortunately, many children around the world do not have access to education, which leads to a number of poverty-related problems. These problems cannot simply be ignored. That's why I would resolve to put an end to some of the world's biggest problems. Three problems I would like to solve in particular are homelessness, lack of clean water and lack of educational services in developing countries. Homelessness is the first global problem I would focus on to eradicate. The scale of the homelessness problem is enormous. The Annual Homeless Assessment Report found that more than one million Americans are homeless today. Additionally, the National Alliance to End Homelessness said that homeless shelters today are not equipped to accommodate the growing number of homeless people. There is a need to look for permanent solutions to curb the effects of homelessness in society. If I had the power to change modern society, as the suggestion states, then it is implied that I have the financial resources to do so. Therefore, I would like to support the construction of additional shelters to help the homeless. Being without shelter exposes you to the elements and acts of violence. Acts of violence against the homeless are a particularly serious problem. In fact, according to the Task Force for Ending Homelessness, approximately four in ten homeless people will be victims of a violent attack while homeless. When you don't have a place to call home, you often have no refuge from the elements. Storms become a big problem, rather than a minor annoyance, as they are for many people. The fact that many homeless people have…half the paper…people, increasing access to education is one thing I would change. Homelessness, lack of clean water, and poor access to quality education around the world are problems I would focus on solving if I could change any three things. First, as over a million Americans are homeless today, we must work to change this abject situation. When millions of children die every year due to a lack of clean water, we are not doing enough. Therefore, I would work to increase access to clean water. Finally, because education is necessary to give hope to children in developing countries, it is important to increase their access to quality education. Malala Yousafzai emphasized the importance of education as an activist and worked to reduce the problems of the developing world. Striving to solve the problems of the developing world will be critical to global success in the future.
