Among the numerous occupations around the world are doctor who is generally a specialist in human medicine and lawyer who is a professional in the field of law engaged in lawsuits and other legal matters. The latter have always engaged in free practices in their sector for years. That is, they are known to offer on several occasions free or subsidized legal services in the public service, i.e. free client representation and legal advice. This is called “pro bono”. Doctors offer volunteer services in the form of medical camps. However, there is no clear requirement that they do so. Medical services are crucial in every community, so it is necessary for doctors to offer pro bono services. Besides offering services to the needy in the community, it is also beneficial for professionals. For example, when lawyers practice pro bono, they are able to save innocent people from wrongful convictions, ensure justice is done, and at the same time expand their markets and hone their skills. The situation is no different in the case of doctors. First of all, it's simply the right thing to do. For example, in Heinz's famous dilemma, when the doctor could not allow Heinz to get Heinz a drug for his dying wife at half the price and then pay the remaining half, he was not doing the right thing and had behaved inhumanely . Worse, Heinz had done everything in its power to get as much money as possible for the drug that cost ten times more than it cost to produce. Well, this doctor would have at least accepted half the price Heinz had to save a life because it would have been the right thing to do. At a recent free medical camp, many people were turned away due to the lack of medical personnel to handle the...... half of the document ...... came from the national government which created a law requiring volunteers to take responsibility for their actions. This would ensure that volunteers act in the best interests of the patient. To conclude, good faith practices by physicians can be both good and bad. However, the fact still remains that the gift of life is the most precious thing on earth and therefore doctors should consider it before other things such as money. It is not only the patients who benefit, but also the doctors themselves, and what they do in the future may result from such generous acts that attracted other people. However, you need to be careful as it is not an absolutely good practice to have your own setbacks as seen above.
