In “A Good Man is Hard to Find" by Flannery O' Connor. The authors tell the story of a Southern grandmother, who manipulates her family into no longer going to Florida but instead in Tennessee, she tries to convince them by claiming that "the misfit" was on his way to Florida and didn't want to risk them being in danger, when in reality she wanted to meet some old friends in the South. Her grandchildren from an old plantation she visited as a child, they changed their minds and began their journey towards Tennessee, traveling along a lonely dirt road, the grandmother realizes that she brought her family in the wrong position to avoid the collision, she does not talk about her mistake, instead she paces in frustration on the seat rear of the car, causing her son to be scared while he was driving, thus causing him to have an accident on the back road. In the confrontation the grandmother acts as if she is hurt to gain her son's sympathy. While they are recovering from the accident, on the side of a dirt road , a car approaches. Three men get out of the car and one after the other...
