Topic > Enders Game: Ender's Game by Scott Card - 645

During the winter holidays of 2014, I finished the novel “Ender's Game”. When I first heard it, I just knew it was a very famous science fiction written by Carta Scott. the plot is also said to be very gripping. However, after finishing it, I discovered that what the novel enlightened me was much more than I had previously thought. “Ender's Game” is about the event that happened in the future when the earth is under the threat of insects. The International Fleet intends to train gifted children to provide good soldiers and commanders for the unexpected war with the bastards. As a result, Ender and other talented boys are sent to the "battle school" to be rigorously cultivated. During training, Ender and his team are usually secretly assigned some extremely challenging and difficult missions by the teacher in order to best utilize and develop Ender's exceptional talent. Also, the missions I mentioned aren't that easy. The whole team will be immediately defeated if there is no leader who always knows how to make wise decisions. However, whenever Ender and his team face these emergencies, he will stand up resolutely and take on the harsh burden and responsibility of being a commander. He sincerely loves his team, no matter how unfair the rules of battle are to them, no matter how impossible it is to complete the mission; he will do his best to win the game as a commander with no desire to give up. Watching Ender bravely tackle those tasks that are nearly impossible to accomplish over and over again moves me greatly. This is the spirit of Ender's leadership, which is also the great fortune given to me by “ender's game”. As a leader, or even a regular team member, the responsibility to our team becomes the focus of the lack of time and money. At that urgent moment, our “boss” asked us for the volunteer who wanted to take full responsibility. When everyone fell silent, I suddenly thought of Ender's courageous look when he faces these problems. Then, for reasons unknown, I raised my hand to volunteer. Since then, I have had to spend days and days working on various financial and social problems. Finally the activity has arrived; our club invoiced 2500 yuan---- a price neither high nor low. But after solving so many problems and doing it successfully, I felt proud of myself. From the learned novel "Ender's Game", I learned the necessity and importance of standing up and taking responsibility as a leader. Courageously becoming a leader is truly a challenge and blessing for me. But in the future I hope this principle can be followed in my whole life.
