In an action game, players normally control one character. The player must guide his character through a level, collecting important items, avoiding obstacles, and fighting enemies with multiple forms of attack. An easily recognizable action game series is known as Devil May Cry or commonly called DMC. If action games aren't the genre for you, perhaps action-adventure games are more your style. Action-adventure games are games that combine elements of the action game genre with elements of the adventure game genre. Action-adventure games mainly focus on making the player use both his reflexes and problem-solving skills while playing the game.
