CHAPTER ONE1- INTRODUCTION:1.1 Study Background-- UK Police ForceThe UK Police is one of the professional police forces in the world and is known for his professionalism, dedication, performance and motivational commitment towards his duties and the nation as a whole. Like any other strength, it needs motivation to carry out its level of effort. At the organizational level, there are a number of motivational factors and theories that work to maintain this world-class motivational level, but there is another factor that provides a roadmap for the organization towards professional commitments. This is leadership. It is estimated that there are around 52 police officers in the UK with varying responsibilities and sizes. Most of the British police are under the administration of the Home Office, but in other countries, the dollar, Scotland and Northern Ireland, England and the strength of the wall along with the intelligence network were different. Leadership is a quality for directing people, but what is more important than the ability to direct is securing the obedience of the public in that direction. People are a crowd and persuading and motivating them to pursue something collectively is the job of leadership. A leader unites these people into a team and then guides how to act in unity. A leader motivates his team with his action, personality and charisma to follow and carry out the assigned task wholeheartedly. However, this leadership role is too general and seems easy to perform. This task becomes increasingly difficult when there is a need for persuasion to carry out martyrdom. In the uniformed services, be it military, police, fire or otherwise, employees are not like any other employees in civilian agencies. Their roles and duties…half of the document…a motivator? • What is the importance and significance of motivation in UK policing?
