The United States is a very large country and therefore immigration becomes a big concern for the country. People prefer to move to the United States to feel the liberal lifestyle and prosperity that America is famous for. The United States has millions of both legal and illegal immigrants. America needs to create new job opportunities and vacancies for people moving around the nation and also for the nation's citizens. Much of the chaos in the country is caused by immigrants. The nation must limit the number of immigrants into the country. These immigrants cause problems for government and employment welfare dependency. More than eight million legal and illegal immigrants live in permanent residential settlements and also hold regular jobs. This takes away job opportunities from American residents, which brings stress in programs to a breaking point and this encourages more and more illegal immigrants to come to the United States with the future attraction of a US citizenship legally. By restricting immigration, the United States will help the nation reduce the problems of US citizens with employment and common welfare. A different reason for entering the nation is that the US economy is very diverse, so there are different ethnic groups in the nation as opposed to a large, homogeneous economy. The nation of the United States has its own customs and culture, and the lifestyles are varied compared to many of the people who immigrate to this nation. Currently there are more ethnic groups, people of different nationalities, some smaller minority groups also fighting for existence and their rights in American culture, causing the nation to change their way of experiencing their culture.
