Box A Move rents reusable, interlocking polyurethane moving containers as an alternative to those more commonly used over the years; Cardboard. The company's goal is to save consumers time and money over traditional moving methods by providing an overall better option. The use of recyclable materials is not only environmentally friendly but also cost-effective compared to the standard use of moving cardboard. With this, Box A Move is transforming the traditional moving process. Dedicated to helping movers save time and money with an environmental replacement for cardboard boxes. Box A Move offers a very affordable price compared to the national average cost of cardboard. Each bow will be rentable for $1.50 for the first week and at a 50% discount on the remaining weeks. This is compared to the average cost of cardboard which is $3.00. According to U-Haul International, a cardboard box can be reused up to 4 times, but most movers don't save it for reuse, thus ending up in landfills across the country. At a competitive price of around half the price of cardboard, Box A Move allows customers to eliminate the negative impact of cardboard on the environment and, because they will only be using it for the specific move, they are able to pay much less. The price for purchasing polyurethane storage boxes ranges from $7 to $10 each and has a minimum usage amount of 200 times. For a quantity of 500 regular sized pieces, the purchase price with logo print is $9.25 each. So, when calculated based on the minimum number of uses, the price of the containers comes to almost $0.05 each. That's a price less... than half the paper... themselves. The program will offer a credit system where real estate agents earn points for clients who recommend them and can partly use those credits as an advantage when they have a great opportunity they would like to seize. Box A Move is fortunate to reach a market that comprises 20% of the US population annually; Moving. The opportunity to capture this market and transform it into an eco-friendly process helps everyone in the long run. Waste produced in the United States has more than doubled in the last 30 years, from 88 million tons in 1960 to 236 million tons in 2003. (Energy Information Administration) Although cardboard is recyclable, not all Americans discard it properly and about 50% of it is not recycled. (US Environmental Protection Agency) It's something small like Box A Move that could help society in the future.
