Everything went black, the colors vivid and bright and the images from before sank into empty space. A warm blanket was pressed against my skin. Beep... beep... beep. Everything around was just a confusing chaos. My eyelids were so heavy and trying to keep them open was difficult. Just when I thought things were coming into focus, I saw black, then colors, then black again, again and again and again. I couldn't keep my eyes open. I could feel people touching me, I could almost hear things, but everything felt muffled, like they were talking into a pillow or something. I couldn't remember anything, my head was throbbing in pain and it was so hard to think straight. Every muscle in my body was sore and tense. I looked around the large room, not sure where I was; but I thought I recognized him or at least saw his photos. The room was filled with beautiful paintings and art, one entire wall was just a window; I could look down and see the city lights rising into the sky. I looked a little to my left and saw a guy lying next to me. I rested my head on the pillow. It was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Darkness filled the room, except for a small light bulb in the center of the ceiling. I assumed they were all gone. I was wondering who this guy was. What had happened? Why was he here? Why is he in the same room as me? I couldn't remember anything. Where was I too? I'm pretty sure I'm in a dream but I'm not sure. I'm not sure of anything. Tears began to well up in my eyes, a single tear escaped and ran down my cheek. The silence was broken. Now I could hear footsteps walking towards my room. Who is? What do they want? The door slowly opened, there was a woman wearing a white coat and her hair tied up in a messy... middle of paper... I would have some silence and absorb everything that had happened. A couple of hours later April came back to my room, I was still very confused and a little scared. The doctors put me in a wheelchair so we walked around the hospital. “Why can't I wake up already?” I murmured. "What do you mean?" she asked confused. “Well, I'm just in a dream, I just want to get up from this dream and go home.” "No... yo... you... you're not in a dream, you're in reality." He stammered as he looked at me with a very puzzled expression. I cuffed my face with my hands. I must have been in a dream. I have NEVER been in a car accident, as they say. I was terrified. I didn't know where I was, or I thought I knew, but now April says I'm not in a dream, so where am I? I couldn't help but cry, the tears just came. “April,” I looked into her big blue eyes. "help me." I whispered.
