When I was little, I always wanted to be something to do with criminal justice. Why? Well, because when I was younger I watched a lot of those crime shows and they always had my full attention. Plus my aunt is a sheriff, so I would go to work with her when I could and get an even closer look at CSI work. So going with her made me even more interested day by day. At that moment I knew what I wanted to do when I finished high school. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, forensic technicians observe and examine crime scenes. They also determine the evidence that should be collected. You take photos of the sight of the crime and the evidence you would collect. Technicians must also make sketches of the scene and perform analysis on everything collected. See leads on suspects using analytics data. (“What They Do”) Forensic technicians are primarily the people who do all the sensitive technical work at the scene. They take the bodies and test the prints. Technicians check for foul play on the body so they know how you died. This is primarily what forensic technicians do. The workplaces of a technician are police stations and offices. When it comes to a dead body they have to go to crime labs and morgues. The reason they have to go here is so they can test the body and see what they can find. Perhaps it is small evidence on the body that investigators or the police were unable to see. Technicians are associated with medical examiners and the medical examiner's office. They have to work in all kinds of weather conditions, no matter what, they work in groups and teams with other technicians or specialists. (“Working Environment”) Forensic technicians have unstable days because they work at all times of the...... middle of paper ...... there is something that doesn't go away and you don't have it anymore. During this exam you must determine the size and shape of the projectile. You have to look into deep things when you do this because everything can only be there in a small way. ("At The Mortuary")This sums it up: they have criminal programs available to you at any time. All of these programs should last at least one year. Be serious about what you are doing if you really wanted to get into this force. Forensic technicians travel a lot, especially if you are one of the good ones because they will call you first. You work with the FBI most of the time on the bigger crimes. Be good in the lab because you will be there most of the time and you need good eyesight. If you want to become a forensic technician, keep up to date and be prepared to do some hard work.
