The Arranged Marriage Process Arab culture has many unique aspects, just like any other culture in the world. One such aspect is arranged marriages, on which many people have different views. This article will outline the various opinions and points of view that come to mind when a person hears the phrase Arranged Marriage. Furthermore, it will trace the initial process in which the spouses initially meet, as well as women in general will say in the process who their future husband will be. Subsequently this document will show the facts of the ceremony and the various traditions involved. The overall learning objective is to gain a deeper understanding of the arranged marriage process. First, an official definition is needed so that there is a baseline for the phrase arranged marriage. The official definition of arranged marriage "marital partners are chosen by parents, community elders, wedding planners or religious leaders in an effort to guide young people through the process of finding the right person to marry. Arranged marriages around the world include a wide variety of procedures, cultural customs, duration of courtship, as well as practical and spiritual reasons for pairing partners. Throughout the main campus of the University of Toledo, various students were asked what words or thoughts came to mind when they heard the phrase arranged marriage twenty-four students of different ethnicity, age and gender were approached... in the center of the sheet... the companion will be.
