I love life and I love living it to the fullest. Life has treated me pretty well so far. There have been many ups and downs, but nothing has stopped me so far. I treat every day like it's a new day because I will never know what will happen next. In recent years I have had several accidents. Just to name a few of my incidents I now have seizures, I now have a spleen (weak immune system) and I have three screws and two plates holding me together. When I was 14 I was climbing up a bunk bed and I fell I fell and hit my head on a dresser and I had the biggest cartoon knot on the back of my head. From that night in 1994 I started having seizures. I guess I triggered something in my brain. I have been taking seizure meds for over 20 years and so far so good as long as I take my seizure meds. I stopped taking them in 2009 and from that day on I had an attack. I take my medications as I should be prescribed by my doctor. I am the doctor of love that I am, but not the doctor of seizures. Another accident I had was a bad cycling accident and because of this I have no spleen, the spleen is one of the many filters in the body that helps with colds. It was a warm spring day in 1996, I was riding my bike home from high school on Athens Drive, suddenly there I was flying over the handlebars and landing on the sidewalk during five o'clock traffic on Tryon Rd. The traffic was backed up and no people she came down to see if I was okay. My left arm was bleeding, the handlebars of my bicycle were bent and I had internal bleeding, which I didn't know at the time because I was short of breath. I took my bike and took it to some local apartments where I know some people. They entered... middle of paper... I think the sharp pain would reach all the way to my leg. My arm wasn't that bad, all they did while I waited for surgery was fix it with a temporary bandage. The doctors operated on my right pelvis and left arm on the same day. I owed two for a special. I was in the hospital for about a week. I got out the following Monday and had a long road to recovery. After I got home I had to start physical therapy and this was pain in my pelvis. So over the last 34 years I have had many accidents, they slowed me down but nothing stopped me. Since my accidents I have skydived, traveled to different countries, run two 5ks, and have had many adventures in my life. I live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of it. I recommend you do the same. I think I have at least four lives left. We will see.
