An illegal immigrant, working to support himself in an unfamiliar country, contributing taxes, staying out of trouble, and simply wanting a better life in a foreign country, on an unfamiliar land, should be recognized for their contribution to that particular society. An illegal immigrant is a person who migrates to a different country in violation of that country's immigration laws. Immigration has been a divided topic for many years in America: Illegal immigrants are sometimes seen as a burden to America, but others see them as an economic savior. There are more than 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States, and many Americans have conflicting opinions about what the position should be regarding citizenship. Illegal immigrants should be granted citizenship based on the United States' need for a legalized workforce, increased tax revenues that would decrease the nation's debt, and the revival of the American economy. Various housework and gardening jobs are performed by immigrants, both legal and legal. illegal. Immigrants are a necessity in the U.S. job market; between 7 and 8 million of the 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States work, contributing to the economy and America's growing workforce (Jacoby 22). Unemployment is above 8%, and some Americans argue that these jobs could be filled by US workers, but that is not possible.
