Camille is the allegorical representation of men's perception of how women can succeed. Camille works for Mr. Fallon and, from the beginning of the film, is pushed towards men who have a lot of money and power. Her character is built on how men believe women should act to be successful. None of the men in the film believe it is strange that Camille behaves this way because they see her as someone incapable of achieving wealth on her own, and so she turns to wealthy entrepreneurs to seduce and enchant them with her body. The men in this film sexualize and objectify women as a means of pleasure only to be used as a purpose for men. Camille is an allegorical character who is a symbol of success, and is a woman who believes that selling her body is the way to secure wealth. The first example of this is when she tries to get intimate with Robert Cutty after just meeting him; she knew nothing about him except that he is rich. The other time she realizes her symbol is after Laurel planned to kill Robert Cutty after he took all the credit for Laurel's success.
