Dedicates itself to the idea that art loses its purpose in the era of social decay. Society is divided into individual elements; social solidarity is destroyed to free individuality and every form of private life. In this way the private sphere can now broaden the horizons of individual structures. In Buden's vision the art world can never be characterized as a social structure. It revolves around the internal art market and seems to be a closed system, which can let an artist in or not. Art institutions do not produce universal artistic values, since they are not located at the center of the system, but in the peripheral parts, playing a gatekeeper role. Museums and galleries are no longer interested in social validation. “Art without society implies a society without art. We can hypothesize even further: not only have the visual arts of visual culture ceased to be an important factor in the process of education (Bildungsprozess) of a society/nation; perhaps the very process of educating society/nation has stopped definitively. Society no longer educates anyone; in fact it no longer educates itself. “Also, nowadays the art center is located in a Western world. National art institutions are only parts of the system, at its service. They are incapable of being or producing anything of value on their own
