“Good wood does not grow easily, the stronger the wind, the stronger the trees. The further away the sky, the longer the length. The bigger the storm, the greater the strength. Under the sun and the cold, under the rain and snow, good wood grows in trees and men." We all experience trials, most times several occur at the same time. Because we are ready to be strengthened, Heavenly Father provides us with experiences, also called trials, that stimulate growth, understanding, and compassion that refine us for our eternal benefit. Getting from where we are to where He wants us to be requires a lot of effort, usually involving discomfort and pain. When we endure through a trial we must remember, we have paths for a reason. Instead of dwelling on the negative aspects of what is happening around us, we need to focus on what we can learn from it or how we can grow and become stronger, President Monson said. “Our Heavenly Father, who gives us so much to rejoice in, also knows that we learn, grow, and grow stronger as we face and survive the trials through which we must pass…such hardships allow us to change for the better, to rebuild our lives the way our Heavenly Father teaches us and to become something other than what we were: better than we were, more understanding than we were, more empathetic than we were, with stronger testimonies than we had before.” Each of us has experienced many trials that have tested our faith, and many of us reach the point where we ask ourselves “will I falter or will I finish.” The Lord doesn't always give us what we want, but He ALWAYS gives us what we need. That doesn't mean He doesn't hear our sincere prayers and heart's desires. He knows everything we will face in life and as long as we work... middle of the paper... His promise will always be our watchword: “I will not fail you, nor forsake you. " Even if we feel we can go it alone, we will always need our loving Heavenly Father just as we need our earthly father. He can do anything as long as we have faith in our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. He knows what we're going through and he knows why we're going through trials. He will never give us more than we can handle, even if it seems like we won't make it, turn to Him and He will provide us with everything we need to carry on and endure the end I know that God lives and loves us, He sent His Only Begotten Son to live and die for us, through the gospel of Jesus Christ we can make it through anything and overcome the darkness and have the light in our lives We can do anything with the love of our Heavenly Father. In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.
