Puerto RicoWhat is a cliché that comes into question when someone thinks of a destination to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the US mainland? Normally Puerto Rico isn't too far from the conversation. Puerto Rico is a beautiful place with the perfect climate and many historic sites to take that vacation you've always wanted. Today we will discuss the major issues in/of Puerto Rico, the significance of this research and data sources, and finally I will describe the data collected and research found during my investigation of the region known as Puerto Rico, officially known as the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico , Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the United States of America located in the northeastern Caribbean. The area is 100 miles long and 35 miles wide and is located approximately 1,600 miles southeast of Miami, Florida. A quick look at the country's profile reveals that the capital of Puerto Rico is San Juan. The climate is tropical marine with an average annual temperature between 22 and 25 °C. The currency is the US dollar. It also has one of the highest standards of living in the Western Hemisphere, but its political status is not something the island prides itself on. The ethnic composition is predominantly white and the government is a democracy. Let us now move on to the next point of the document, the main problems occurring in Puerto Rico. Behind its beauty the territory has many problems, one of which is the lack of structure which leads to a horrible political status.
