An Unforgettable Person Parents are, or should be, their children's teachers in many areas, a natural relationship of transmitting what they have learned to their children. But there is something special about the teaching profession where an individual chooses to make an impact on students, who hardly know it on the first day of class and yet have the goal of steering those young faces toward a well-rounded education in for approximately 180 days they will have entrusted them to his care. At Vikas Junior College, other teachers continued to influence my life and many of them enjoyed long teaching careers. Many have retired, but many are still hard on the current crop of students. The bell rings and all the students wait for him to arrive. He is none other than our Mathematics teacher Mr. P. Ramesh. He is about 6 feet tall, a slim man. He dresses formally. He has a nice haircut like Wave's. He's handsome too. His lessons are so interesting. All students are involved to listen to his lessons. We never miss his lessons. He is very friendly, polite and informal. It is acclaimed by many students here and there. ``Hi!'' ``Hi!'' ``Nice to see you!'' Whenever he meets someone he knows, he always greets them first, with a big smile, regardless of whether they are older or younger than him .
