Today there are an unfortunate number of patients waiting for organs; this number exceeds the number of people registered as organ donors. Patients waiting for organs wait months and sometimes years for a match. Many of these patients die before finding one. Organ donation is a topic that most people are not well informed about, as a result many people refuse to be organ donors.
