Stanton drafted a document called the Declaration of Sentiments, this document was similar to the Declaration of Independence, and in this document they introduced the demand for women's right to vote. Some of these demands included the right to property, the right to education, and divorce. As many hoped that this women's rights convention would attract much national attention, the meeting held in Seneca Falls inspired many other meetings to be held
